Do I need reservations for the dining rooms?
While we will certainly accommodate those without reservations when we can, reservations are always highly recommended in order to be sure that space is available at your preferred date and time.
When I make reservations, can I book a window seat?
All of the tables in the Revolving Dining Room have a view. Any specific table requests (near the glass, away from the glass, a booth seat, etc.) are taken care of by the Maitre d’ upon arrival.
What’s the difference between the Summit Suite Buffet and the Revolving Dining Room? Does the Summit Suite Buffet revolve?
Both dining rooms offer the same exceptional quality and service, but there are differences: The Revolving Dining Room offers a world-class à la carte menu while the Summit Suite offers a selection of delectable items with buffet-style dining. While the Summit Suite Buffet does not revolve, all the seating is on the falls-side of the restaurant.
I’m from the United States, do I require a passport to visit Niagara Falls, Canada?
Yes, you do require a passport to travel internationally. Check with your local immigration office or consulate for further details.
When I make reservations for the dining room, do I still have to pay for parking and the ride-to-the-top?
While parking is charged separately, and therefore still applies to those who are dining, the Ride-to-the-Top and Observation Deck visit is complimentary when dining. Diners may make the trip up the additional flights to the Observation Deck after their meal, to continue enjoying the breathtaking view at no additional cost.
When I purchase Ride-to-the-Top and 3D/4D Movie Theatre tickets, do I have to book a time to use them?
Ride to the Top observation deck tickets and 4D tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase if bought in person, or one year from the date they are redeemed if purchased online.
Why have I been having trouble making a reservation for the Summit Suite Buffet?
The Summit Suite Buffet’s availability changes seasonally — It is available for both lunch and dinner every day from around late May through late October. Specific dates change year to year, so check out our contact page for up-to-date details!
What is the Skylon Tower dress code?
Many visitors to the Skylon Tower are visiting for a variety of reasons from a casual evening dinner to a romantic anniversary celebration. You will find guests dressed casually and formally. The entire experience is up to you.

What Currency is being used on your website?
All prices are listed in Canadian currency.
What ages qualify as children?
Up to 12 years old.
How long does the Observation Deck, Day, and Night pass last?
The Day/Night Pass is valid for 2 escalations per person between the time of redemption and the end of the next business day, (24 hours).
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, we do. Guests can request the gluten free menu upon arrival. It consists of most of our menu items minus the sauces or breading.
Do you provide birthday cakes?
If you notify your server, we can always put a birthday candle on the dessert you’ve ordered. If you wish to order a birthday cake, please give us a call, and we will provide you with options and pricing. We require a minimum notice of 48 hours.
How do I contact lost and found?
Please call the Skylon Tower immediately and ask to speak to a Duty Manager, who will take down all the details, such as date and time lost, and contact information, should the item not show up on lost and found until a few days later.
Does the Skylon Tower accept illumination requests?
The Skylon Tower is no longer accepting illumination requests.
Is the Revolving Dining Room wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Skylon Tower Revolving Dining Room is wheelchair accessible. There are steps to reach the dining area, however, we provide a ramp to access the dining room.
What is there to do in the Skylon Tower?
The Skylon Tower offers indoor/outdoor viewing of the Falls from a height of 233 meters (764 feet), as well as two excellent dining rooms with views of the Falls. The Skylon Tower Revolving Dining Room and the Skylon Tower Summit Suite Buffet Dining Room.
While visiting the Skylon Tower, you can also grab a Starbucks coffee, shop at our gift shops, and entertain the kids in the lower level, where our retro Arcade area and access to our 3D/4D theatre.
Is the Skylon Tower open all year long?
Yes the Skylon Tower is open all year long and on holidays as well!
Which was built first the CN Tower or the Skylon Tower?
Skylon Tower: Completed in 1965, it features a distinctive flying saucer-shaped observation deck and restaurant. Visitors reach the top via exterior “yellow bug” elevators that provide a scenic ride to the observation deck.
CN Tower: Completed in 1976, the CN Tower has a circular observation deck and a famous glass floor. It features high-speed elevators that whisk visitors to the top in under a minute.
Does the Skylon Tower rotate?
Yes, the Skylon Tower does have a revolving feature. The Revolving Dining Room at the Skylon Tower rotates 360 degrees every hour, providing diners with continuously changing views of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area.
Can you see Toronto from the Skylon Tower?
Yes, you can see Toronto from the Skylon Tower on a clear day. The tower offers visibility up to 125 kilometers (approximately 80 miles), which includes views of the Toronto skyline.

Can you bring pets into the Skylon Tower?
Pets are not permitted in the building, unless they are service animals. Service animals must have the proper paperwork and Identification.
