Group Sales Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE

Skylon Tower is currently hiring a Group Sales Coordinator.

As the Group Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales efforts by managing group inquiries, developing proposals, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Senior Sales Coordinator, you will be instrumental in fostering relationships with clients and collaborating with various departments to enhance customer loyalty and achieve sales goals

YOU WILL MAKE IMPACT BY:

  • Responding to inquiries, telephone calls, and emails promptly to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Developing and presenting proposals and contracts while conducting follow-ups with prospective clients.
  • Initiating pre-arrival communication to gather essential details such as billing information, meal counts, and VIP arrivals.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure all group details are meticulously addressed.
  • Conducting site inspections for potential clients to showcase the clients’ unique offerings.
  • Hosting luncheons with prospective clients as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Maintaining and updating sales tools, including menus, brochures, and office supplies to support the sales process.
  • Preparing month-end reports for the Director of Sales & Marketing, showcasing sales performance and lead generation efforts.
  • Assisting the sales team with prospecting and converting leads from various sources, ensuring targets are met.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU

  • Have 2+ years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry.
  • 1+ year of experience in direct travel/tourism sales (preferred but will train).
  • Possess a related college/university degree (preferred).
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a self-starter mentality.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of navigating various software programs.
  • Excel in building relationships and connecting with clients to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
